Note about Medical Centers that have transitioned to a new Electronic Health Record (EHR)

On October 24th, 2020, VA started transitioning from VistA to a new Electronic Health Record (EHR). COVID-19 surveillance data will temporarily be incomplete from some medical centers as we work to integrate EHR data into our system. Thank you for your patience.

Respiratory viruses account for millions of illnesses and thousands of hospitalizations and deaths annually in the United States. Test positivity for the viruses that cause COVID-19, Influenza, and RSV are selectable, in this report, at the state level for the 2024 season (October 1, 2023 – July 9, 2024).
